TNTUCC
The Student Union and British Canoe Union affiliated club caters for all standards of paddlers from beginners to experts.
We hold pool sessions every Thursday night at the Victoria Liesure Centre at 9pm til 10pm. With a new 9-10pm Tuesday night session at the same pool for CANOE POLO
We also paddle at Holme Pierrepont, the national White Water Centre for England which is on the outskirts of Nottingham, every Wednesday afternoon

In addition we travel the country during the year to places such as Yorkshire, The Lake District, Scotland, North Wales and so on for weekends of fun paddling and copious drinking.

Annual Trip Abroad

For the past 3 years the club has run a trip to Europe, spending over 5 weeks in the French Alps and a further Week in the Austrian Alps over these years. The summer of 2003 the club is looking to paddle in Slovenia! Watch this space!
Paddling abroad is a very different experience, paddling every day in cold but clear glacial meltwater in the hot sunshine. Drying your kit within minutes of getting off the river and relaxing in the awe inspiring scenery. If you want to know more about these trips and this years European trip, speak to some of the club members who have been on one or more of them!
They are advanced paddling trips, but any club members are welcome. Developments for future trips will be posted on the site and distributed by e-mail

Teaching
There is ample opportunity to learn skills and qualifications within the club. Each pool session allows for practice and teaching sessions as well and messing around! The NEW Tuesday POLO session comes with its own qualified Coach!
We also use Holme Peirrepont to train on and learn white water skills. These are essential when pushing the limits of you paddling ability.

The club also arranges, safety, first aid, leadership and competence courses which are subsidised by the club
